My goal is to create a space (in the library) where students participate in Makerspace activities all year long. Activities will encourage students to practice problem solving skills as they follow simple guidelines to construct a product while using a variety of materials. Students will use the 3D printer and filament to create models that show the structures of diverse environments. These include landforms, buildings, and man made structures. Other projects may include inventing toys or other products that interest their peers. These learning opportunities will provide students with practice using computer-assisted design software. Participants will see their work come alive thus providing an interactive learning experience.
