Many of my young scholars do not have access to technology outside of the classroom. We are living in a world where using technology and using it proficiently is an increasing necessity. The tablets can be used to enhance their education by offering support across the curriculum; in math using virtual manipulatives, reading with comprehension activities, science enabling exploration and discovery. Students will be able to access educational programs that keep them highly engaged. The five tablets also allow for more differentiated instruction in the classroom. These tablets have numerous possibilities in our classroom and access to them will help set students up for success by giving them familiarity with 21st century tools.
