The ELMO (document camera), projector and screen are tools that go together to help project anything I do under the camera onto the screen for my students to see. I will be using these tools when I am writing notes and ask for my students to copy what I am writing. I can also show all of my students small math visuals and manipulative under the camera, which will project onto the screen. Also, when I ask for my students to come up to the front of the room and share their work with others, they will be able to project their work onto the screen big enough for everyone to see and follow along. In addition, I will use the printer to print any math resources, or make extra copies of worksheets. I will also be able to translate worksheets from English to Spanish and print copies for my ELL students. I will be using all four tools on a daily basis as they are very important and convenient! These four tools will make a huge impact on the class as a whole. We will be able to accomplish a lot by projecting small things onto the screen big enough for everyone to see. We will also be diffusing the language barrier by printing translated math worksheets for my ELL students. I will also be able to print math worksheets for my students based on their needs, for instance, I might print challenging math worksheets for my gifted students, scaffolded math problems for my struggling learners, and translated tasks for my ELLs. All 4 tools will be of important and frequent use.
