The books in this project are selected from the National Geographic Readers series for TK - 6th grade students and the Who Was…? series for 3rd - 6th grade students. Our readers will select the books from the library and will use them in class to support their research and at home to share with their families and friends. Research topics that will be supported include biographies, life cycles, U.S. and ancient history. The wide variety of books in this project will help our readers and emerging readers find updated books of interest. Our current non-fiction collection is quite dated, and students tend to check out the same titles over and over. The hardback books will hold up to frequent use and will last for many years to come.
