Hello- Thank you for visiting my donor's choose page. I am so very excited to share the news that I have accepted the position of 5th and 6th grade ELA teacher working with Principal Kendra Salvador and her team at Peck School. Many of you know that last September I relocated my family to join in the work of turning around Holyoke Public Schools serving as chief of staff to receiver, Steve Zrike. The work has been relentless and wonderful and yet removed from much of the action taking place at the school level. I am an educator because I love to teach and yet I have been so far removed from that love as an administrator. I spent a good amount of time at Peck last year and watched 4th graders roaming the halls, many of their teachers were absent. Those fourth graders will be my students this year and I can't wait to get to work and learn with them on August 30th! Stephanie
