Teenagers need to be moving as they are learning. My ninth grade students squirm as they sit in rigid chairs and desks. My students need to be able to move, bouce, and scoot as we are studying history. Ball chairs will help my students focus, learn, and create. A kinesthetic classroom better meets the needs of my adolescent learners. The chairs will allow us to have varied seating, even more flexibility in groupings, and a higher level of movement around the classroom. Students will be able to regulate their learning environment and advocate for a spot to learn that best suits the needs of their growing body.
