Each sixth grader gets to participate in an 8 week Crafts elective class. As a culminating project, we host a Pop Up museum. This year, I purchased a few 3D pens for the girls to use as part of creating their museum exhibit pieces. The girls projects exceeded my expectations. The 3D pens were the favorite part of the class for many girls. I'm confident that the hands on experience they had with the pens built spatial awareness and problem solving skills that they will be ale to refer back to in future advanced math and engineering classes. I would like to build my collection of 3D pens and replace some that have broken. We also need massive amounts of filament to use with the pens.
