Our school is currently experiencing a tremendous growth of English Language Learners who live in poverty areas. Because of this, there is not enough money to keep up with the growing demand for up to date technology in the classrooms. We have been given laptops that are at least 8 years or more older. They don't have the updates to be able to connect to our Wi-Fi. This leaves our students without a way to access information that is used each day in our Reading Classes. Our students could also benefit from having tablets on hand to do research projects that they can enjoy and improve on their Reading Comprehension Skills. All of this is important in order for them to be learning by today's technological standards.
