Each day my students use Chromebooks to complete assignments. With my school growing each year, we need more Chromebooks for the students to use. My students work daily on a program called Lexia. This program helps improve reading and comprehension skills. When they work, there are sounds that come out of the computer. This becomes very distracting to the students. Headphones will allow each student to work at his/her own pace without extra distractions. This year, I have used my "special seating" as an incentive for my students. Unfortunately, due to the wear and tear from the past years, I need to replace my flexible seating.

About my class
