These stand-up desks and wobble chairs will be used by students in the regular education classroom to help them focus. Having students move and stand while working not only helps them maintain focus, but it helps with posture and circulation. Having these flexible seating options will give students a more comfortable learning environment in which to thrive. A few students at our school are currently using alternative seating and the results have been very positive! The students love having the option to move while learning. Giving students a choice of seating decreases negative behaviors and allows the students to remain comfortable throughout the day. We are hoping to be able to give more students the opportunity to remain physically active and mentally engaged in the classroom!
