This will be a safe space for students to be able to share their thinking and discover their love learning. The carpet is where students begin their journey of learning. In the morning, the students gather around the carpet to greet each other and share about their day. It is a place where students can talk with their peers and collaborate in a space where they feel comfortable and secure. In the afternoon the students use the carpet as a place of reflection not only on their learning throughout the day, but also on their emotions that they have been feeling all day. At the end of the day this is the place where we say goodbye and hope to see each other again the next day. The classroom carpet is where the magic of learning happens!
