Having this project will aid our students on their journey to impact their environment through technology. With over an hundred students, our classroom will use this project to visually communicate with other classes globally as well for technology instruction. We will use this projector to teach our students computer skills which include: hardware and software concepts, operating systems, files and folders, computer networks, personal safety and computer security and use of Office-style software (word processors, spreadsheets, presentations). Students will also learn about image editing, social media and Internet communications, introductory website design, simple computer programming, and explore careers in computing. Our students are committed to using technology to aid them in creating initiatives and software that will have an global impact. They are ready to become international difference makers. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
