The Tubano drums that I will be able to purchase through this project will allow all of my students to participate in drumming activities at the same time. As it is now, we need to take turns to share the three drums that are in my classroom. By purchasing a larger set of drums, students will be able to spend more time drumming and less time waiting for their turn. Students will experience world drumming techniques by imitating, creating, and improvising rhythm patterns. Students of all ages will find success with the drumming activities because the techniques are adaptable for all grade levels. Please help us get out hands moving and our musical brains working through the use of world hand drumming techniques!
