Throughout the last few years students often complain that the classroom chairs are uncomfortable and they "can't work". Students need to have access to a variety of chair options in the classroom. We all know that every child learns differently, have we ever thought about how children have different preferences where they learn best? The idea of adding in flexible seating in my classroom will allow students to choose what type of chair they sit in. Students will be able to get out extra energy by being able to move about the room and find what type of chair works best for their learning. The wobble chairs will make it so children do not have to sit still so they will get out their energy. The rest of the chair options (beanless bag chairs, sofa and child chair) are comfortable options for children to sit in while they spend 30-40 minutes reading each day.
