Our ongoing project is to center our lessons around highly effective and curriculum related online science activities. This will include twenty minutes per period of all students working in small groups, after the teacher- directed information.Then groups of 2-4 students will come to the front and work through the 'Question of the Day'. Next, there will be twenty minutes of group work looking at the science and science experiment we will do to learn our standards. This is a new position, help students who had previously failed their standardized science test , get excited about science and want to learn.
