Flexible seating allows my students the ability to make personal choices about their own learning environment. Independent and collaborative learning take place on comfy chairs, wobble stools, cafe-height tables, bean bag chairs and couches. Many of these options are fabric, which are not easily cleaned. The anti-bacterial sofa I am requesting will allow EVERY child to experience our flexible seating space. This sofa is not only comfortable, but easy to clean and will resist bacteria. This is very important for a child who needs a germ-free environment. Giving this student the ability to share the same learning space as her peers will allow for all to achieve desired learning outcomes and foster greater independence.
