The 2020-2021 school year will be like no other we have yet to experience! Students will be learning from a distance both in school and from home. This is difficult for typical students and even more difficult for students with special needs. My classroom currently has one working computer for the teacher to use. I am hoping that each student can have their own tablet and headphones to help make learning fun and interactive...even from a distance. Students will be able to respond from their seats using their tablets, which is how many of my students learn best. They can use the touch screens or keyboards to submit their answers electronically, or the tablets can be used as their "voice," for many of my students are non-verbal and use alternative means to communicate. My students will learn how to navigate the web and use digital platforms, such as Google Classroom, to learn remotely.
