My students will use this equipment in gym, recess, and in after school programs. This equipment will allow for every student in grades one through five to have his/her own ball during the different activities and games that we play this year. Students will be playing more and waiting less. This equipment will give my students the chance to participate and be more engaged in my lessons. The basketballs will be used daily in gym or recess. The class set of basketballs will allow every student to have their own ball when practicing dribbling instead of being assigned to large groups. Dodge balls and soccer balls are used for a variety of different games. The soccer balls will mainly be used for our soccer lessons and recess. They will practice passing, trapping, and shooting. Dodge balls will be used for a variety of different throwing games, kicking games, and tagging games throughout the school year. Our students enjoy these because they are soft.
