My students come to school each day eager to learn and work hard! They are curious, energetic, and kind. My students come from diverse backgrounds which is what makes our classroom such a special place.Every student brings different experiences, culture, and language into our room. Many students in my classroom have behavioral and emotional disabilities; they have experienced trauma that oftentimes inhibits their ability to learn in school. My job is to provide my students with every opportunity to succeed. The majority of our students come from low-income households, and qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Students in every community deserve access to the tools and experiences needed for a great education. My students are held to the highest standards, and they work hard everyday to achieve success.
