The majority of my first graders came on the first day of school without materials to be successful. Some of these materials are composition notebooks, crayons, and folders for their writing pieces. These resources will assist with their writing, math, and reading abilities. Having these resources will help build creative minds and an eagerness to learn while they write creative stories, be knowledgeable in math, and increase their reading ability to be successful in first grade. My students, coming from low economical communities, will remember that there are teachers out there who care about their education. These resources will help in having a better future in their learning experience.
