Many of my students do not have access to the technology that they need to be global citizens in the 21st century. Although we are a "Bring Your Own Device" school, several of them do not have devices to bring into the classroom. I have tried to implement project based learning into my English Language Arts classroom, however it is difficult when my students do not have access to that technology. By providing tablets for my classroom, this will ensure that more of my students are able to actively participate in engaging lessons. Students will be able to research topics that are relevant to the world around them. They will be able to question and learn from each other, instead of merely relying on teacher led instruction.
