My students come from a Title I funded school, which is in a low-economic status neighborhood. These children love writing, drawing, and coloring. These are different forms of communication and at a young age crucial to their language development. Children love to express themselves in multiple ways. With classroom supplies they are able to use the different means. I want the students to enjoy writing and expressing themselves but also love learning. These supplies are so important to a young student. Throughout the day they are being used so frequently. Erasers and pencils encourage the students to try their best, but it is okay to make mistakes. Crayons inspire the students to express their creativity and bring their writing to life through color and drawing. Pencil boxes teach children how to organize and take care of their belongings. These materials and supplies will help guide the students to become amazing authors and students!
