The pencil bags will help my students organize their materials. The set of drawers will be used to store work stations that are used to individualize instruction. The laminating sheets and sheet protectors will be used to create work stations. The dry erase markers will be used for the students to practice on their whiteboards during whole group instruction. Math manipulatives help make abstract concepts concrete for children. Manipulates serve as evidence of the work that taking place on paper. This allows children to work through problems, and serves as a way for them to check their work. It also serves as a more engaging way to learn. The more engaged and excited students are, the more they will learning they will retain. Using manipulatives in a fundamental tool in primary math education!
