Our room is filled with many great minds. My students need practical and relevant problem solving opportunities which bring the real world into the classroom. The K'NEX kits are perfect! "Engineering calls for children to apply what they know about science and math—and their learning is enhanced as a result." The K'NEX kits will give the students an opportunity to work in collaborative groups and gain engineering experience through building. The real bridge kit will support their work with Science Olympiad. The renewable energy kit allows students to generate electricity to operate models as they experiment with renewable energy systems. They will compare and contrast the power and efficiency that can be realized from wind, solar and water powered machines. Your generous donation will help students gain these experiences and make school a place where they can expect the unexpected!
