These materials will be essential in the learning of my students. They will provided them with updated and more current non-fiction texts, as much of the materials we have are a bit out-dated and/or incomplete. Reading is more exciting when a wider variety of texts are available! Students often say that they aren't interested in a certain subject. With some of our students, background knowledge can be limited by experience. The books listed offer a wide variety of subjects, and will provide those students with interesting material to discover and increase their own knowledge and interest in topics and current events in the world.

About my class
