The idea for this project came about as I was leading my Guided Reading groups. I found that my students were not always able to see what I was doing as we work at a round table. I am requesting a kidney table for my Kindergarten classroom. All 19 students will benefit from this item during small group instruction, as all students will visit my table each day, multiple times a day for all subjects. The kidney table layout will allow all students to see what I am doing during the lesson. The students will also be able to see other students working. This builds small group collaboration. Thank you for your consideration in helping our classroom!
