This year I am incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, mathematics) into the curriculum to challenge my students to become problem solvers, collaborators, innovators, and engineers. Students will develop a love for math, science, and the arts by solving real world problems and while participating in hands-on challenges. I am requesting STEM bundles that will encourage my students to solve problems while thinking like scientists. As they use the STEM journals, they will be introduced to the design process; to plan, design, and redesign if needed. These are all real world skills that will make for successful learners. By participating in these activities, my students will learn to communicate, collaborate, be creative, and think critically – all skills they will need to be successful in our changing world!
