Students using Chromebooks during Language Arts would provide opportunities to research authors, explore different genres and provides when they are working by themselves or with their research partner. As a component of my daily 5 instruction students will work independently on assigned tasks in order to strengthen reading and writing skills. Reflecting on my first year of teaching, the BIGGEST LESSON I learned is that I need more technology to adequately meet the needs of my enthusiastic students. All of our IB units have a research component requiring students to work individually, in partners and in groups.In Science we study ecosystems, the universe and physics. We need 10 Chromebooks in order to provide access to the internet, for all students, for reserch and discovery learning.
