Sometime the most basic supplies and needs are not easy to come by at my school such as pencils, erasers, paper, glue, scissors etc... When the students don't have some of these materials it can hinder the flow of a our learning environment. I remember days when students had to use tiny pencils with no erasers, crayons, or the old pencil sharpener just chewed up the pencils leaving just a nub and still no sharpened led. This project will help eliminated this problem for sure. A sharpened pencil goes a long way. Having plenty of sharpened pencils can surely help the students and the teachers learning experiences run smoothly. Our students have a long day of learning and sitting at a desk for 8 hours is difficult for adults, so image asking 9 year old to do the same thing. A nice rug will help with this problem. A big area rug give the students a place to stretch out and work on projects with their classmates, watch movies or listen to their teacher read a story aloud.
