Some students work better sitting at a desk, and some students work better in a more relaxed setting like on a sofa. This furniture would provide my students with an alternative to the traditional seating options. When engaged in passive learning (reading/independent work), students will be able to be relaxed and comfortable. Every student deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment that bets fits their needs. This furniture would make for a more relaxed atmosphere in my classroom. My focus is for students to feel welcomed and as if they are in a home-like atmosphere that is safe and calming.

About my class
