Everyday, 3K/PreK goes outside for 1 hour. While running around and climbing all over the same jungle gym seems nice now, my students need a variety of activities for outdoors. This is an important part of the day where they not only let out their built up energy, but they learn to take turns, work together, and develop their gross motor skills. I am asking for 4 tricycles and a parachute so that my students can experience a variety of outdoor activities, as well as develop their fine/gross motor skills and coordination (and helmets to remain safe while doing it!) Many of my 3K students come from homes where they do not have the opportunity of riding on something as simple as a bike. I want to be able to give them that experience in a safe environment. This will help with their gross motor skills and coordination, which will eventually aid in the classroom as they get older.
