My project will enable my students to have their personal journals for the new school year. This journal provides students a time to escape emotional distress and engage in the wonder of creativity. In order for a child to learn, you must first meet their emotional needs. We are living in unprecedented times. Unexpected. Unchartered territory. When my students arrive back to school to begin the new year, I want to provide them with social-emotional experiences that can last all school year long. This journal will be used to ease anxieties and worries and will be theirs to keep.
