We do weekly activities for our spelling words and vocabulary words that require Children's Dictionaries. Our class currently does not have enough for each child, and the ones we have are all mismatched. I have 7 different dictionaries, some are not geared toward elementary aged students. When we do our Dictionary Digs I have to look in each one to find page number, guide words, and definitions so I know they are finding the correct word. Looking in this many dictionaries is extremely time consuming and confusing for the students who do not see the same information as the rest of us.
