Students enjoy showcasing their ideas, inventions and other projects from their "Genius Hour" class, as well as labs from Science. Students would use the Cricut to customize their projects, make them more visually appealing and express their creativity. These projects also continue on to the STLP competitions. Students would also be able to help decorate the school, including positive messages on the bathroom stalls and hallways. They could also create bulletin boards to promote kindness towards other students. Last, the students would have choice in their projects, including the ability to make shirts to promote projects, clubs and school positivity. I would also like to provide an outlet for students to use computer applications to create, gain a better understanding of scale/proportion and do positive things around the school!
