This project allows students to work strong throughout the academic year. Supplies provided by the schools are extremely limited, and many of my students come from homes that cannot supply the basics for school. Much of the burden falls on teachers. My project gives students organization, structure, and basic supplies such as: highlighters, folders, rulers, scissors, and craft paper to be successful in traditional work as well as project based work. Allowing all learning styles the chance to excel. Since our district is moving more towards project based curriculum, allowing students to have the correct supplies has become a burden on the teachers and the parents. While there is some give on both sides, there are still sadly students left with minimum supplies or having to share with others. By students being given the supplies that they cannot attain when they come into the class, it would start them off on the right foot, and help to keep them there throughout the year.
