After several class discussions about online meeting norms, my students are all doing such a good job of listening and participating. They will be learning with me through the computer for quite a while. Many of them have borrowed Chrome-books from the school district, but only two students have headphones. I want them to all have the very best opportunity for learning and part of that is being able to hear and focus on what is happening on the screen. What I have noticed in my first week with them is that many of them have a lot of distracting noise and activity going on in their houses. I believe that if they each had a pair of good headphones it would improve their ability to hear me and focus on the lessons.
