The items I have requested are resources I would like to use for my Fitness Friday activities. The yoga mats will be used along with exercise equipment I already have, and exercise videos. The goal of Fitness Friday's is to teach the importance of staying fit and becoming a more healthy individual. This project will give them an appreciation for fitness and physical education, that will stick with them as they continue on in their education. Research shows that there is a positive correlation between physical activity and academic performance for children. So not only will our physical education classes benefit from this project, our classroom teachers will benefit as well.

About my class
