I believe that having these Spanish reading books in my classroom library is going to improve my students fluency in Spanish. They are always available to them. They can checkout any book from my library. They can leave them in their desk, they can take them home, they can take them to recess. They already love reading and with these books they can learn to love reading in Spanish. I also hope that some of the books will improve their social and emotional skills as well. There are some books that talk about cultures and peoples that, even in our diverse area, my students have never encountered.

About my class
