My students are diverse. We need multicultural coloring tools for our self-portrait projects. In order to accurately depict our skin tones, we need a larger variety of coloring tools. It is my goal to have my students become aware of their cultural background and identity by celebrating it through self-portraits. My students will be learning about different cultures around the world. We will be celebrating Native American culture by creating our own rainsticks. My students need craft mailing tubes in order to have a foundation for this project. This project will teach students the importance of cultural diversity.
