When children work in smaller differentiated groups they are given the opportunity to work cooperatively with and learn together with their peers. The children also gain a sense of responsibility and independence working in groups. While our students are in their groups, my co teacher and I can conference with other students and or lead smaller guided groups. Having these various materials will help greatly during our group work time. The easels will allow for the tasks to be constantly displayed so that the children know what is expected while the timers will help them keep track of the time allotted to complete their task. The pocket charts will allow for display of any necassary materials and resources that the groups may need to use at that particular time. The differentiated center materials will add to teacher made resources to help build more activities to help the children grow as learners. All of these materials would be an asset to the classroom!!
