These plastic coins will allow each student to have access to money manipulatives in order to learn how to count change, make change, and set the foundation for fractions and decimals. Each student should have 2.70 cents worth of various coins in their math tool boxes. These coin sets will allow me to supply each friend with the necessary manipulatives and have some left over to use in a math work center for more practice. In addition, I will be able to accommodate various learners with these coin sets - kinesthetic and visual learners will thrive with access to manipulatives that are lifelike to our United States currency.

About my class
