My students need your help! My students are wonderful, energetic, enthusiastic beings. They, however, come to school ill equipped and face things on a daily basis that many of us as adults have not or will not face. So, when it comes to learning it is a real challenge to focus when instead they are struggling with just trying to stay awake because they were taking care of their baby brother or sister all night, sitting with the hunger they face each day or trying to not to think about when daddy is coming home. They despite of all this make me laugh, smile(and sometimes frown, but that's to be expected) and provide the best hugs ever. So, I more than anything want to provide those things back to them, as well as a strong, solid education that will put them on the path to hopefully helping them to start a new way of life for themselves.

About my class
