These materials will be used to create a listening center to use during my enrichment time.The students will work in groups and complete the listening activities together. The phonics activity mats focus on all sounds that are taught in 1st grade and can be completed independently. This center will reinforce the skills taught during whole group reading. My students' learning are going to increase with the hands on learning and exposure they are receiving. My students need this center to increase their learning with the different phonics sounds. I can utilize this center during quiet reading to play music for my students also.
