My students love to share their learning with their families through Classdojo. The Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablet I am requesting for this project will allow my students to photograph their in-school projects and discuss them with their families at home through their individual student portfolios. Students will be able to recognize their own growth and take responsibility for their learning. The tablet will facilitate cooperative learning as students use Educreation to problem solve together and create videos to teach their understanding to others. There are numerous math apps as well that will help students build their fact fluency. For example, students might practice their multiplication by playing Sushi Monster. My classroom is not yet at the level technologically to meet my students needs. Our school does not have any tablets available for student learning. This grant will put valuable technology in the hands of students who need and deserve this opportunity. Thank you for your support.
