A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. The materials will help my students earn items that can change their lives. Sports can impact a child in ways that we may not ever know until they are adults. Most of our children cannot afford food on their table much less sports materials to take home and stay active. All the materials in my project will go to students to take home and make an impact in their home and community. We are building leaders. I want to create a classroom economy where students can view their learning as a job that is very important. They can earn classroom money to help them with responsibilities, money skills, problem solving, but also help provide for themselves and their families! With the items in my cart the students can earn tickets like job money in the real world, to earn items from our classroom store. Items are school related along with food items. A lot of my students families cannot provide the necessary materials for students to succeed at home. I want the students to value the opportunity of education and earn a chance to contribute at home which might keep them In class more rather than skipping school to help work for family need. I want my classroom to not only help students succeed academically but also be a safe place for students to come and learn and take away some away some stressors at home. My classroom items can help them achieve dreams and goals with school supplies, home supplies, and leadership supplies for sports.
