Each child is unique and different, making teaching a challenging, but incredibly rewarding profession. Each day we try and discover new ways to increase the success of each child that comes through our doors. I know I have 19 very energetic and enthusiastic students enter my room each day ready to learn. Watching them as they try their best to sit on the carpet to listen to a lesson or how they work so hard to remember to sit while they read or write takes away from their full potential to learn. These hokki stools will provide an alternate seat for them to use so that their body can move, while their mind is absorbing and working to its full potential. No more worrying about sitting still and not grasping the full lesson or hearing all the directions because they need to move and are so focused trying not to. These stools will allow their minds to rest and focus purely on their learning. That to me is priceless!
