Texas Education Association provides Think Through Math curriculum for students in Texas schools. Our students have an excellent resource available to reinforce mathematical skills they are learning in the classroom. Many students can work on TTM using their smart phones, but students that do not have a phone are at a disadvantage. Simply having three iPads that are dedicated to my room will give disadvantaged students the opportunity to improve their math skills and increase their state assessment scores. Not only will my students benefit mathematically, TTM lets them earn prizes/points that many students donate to charitable causes such as American Red Cross and St. Jude.
