My students will utilize the materials to work on independent, partner, and/or group inquiry projects. It will assist them in organizing text resources that will be used alongside the technology side of research. Since my students will be working collaboratively most of the time, they can move at their pace throughout the day. With a combination of multi-grades this year in my classroom, these materials will benefit all the students during their project based learning and inquiry time. It will also assist me with group discussion and meeting with groups as they progress through their research in an organized manner. They will keep all of their materials needed during the inquiry project organized in the boxes. Since they will be working in different groups with either a partner or in a large group, they will need to keep texts, journals, forms, and computer related materials in one box for each project. When we go to the library or labs for research, they will be able to take the boxes with all of the materials with them to keep them together.
