The Scholastic 'Let's Find Out' Magazine provide my kindergarteners an opportunity to learn about their world. For example in the month of October they will come Pumpkins, Fire Safety, Leaf Science and Voting for President. The magazine gives them creative literacy lessons using Common Core Standards. The students have a weekly magazine we discuss in the classroom which they then take home and have further discussions at home with parents. The Scholastic magazine also provide Digital Learning resources, videos, educational games and other lesson ideas. There is also a Science component called "Science Spin" that is wonderful compliment to the "Let's Find Out" magazine.
