Games help students learn by teaching them about partnership, focusing, and learning outside of class. Games teach kids about partnership and collaboration. Working together is part of a game. Games will teach kids that you can’t do everything yourself, sometimes you need help. It is important that kids learn to have partnerships for their future. Board games can also help students focus on learning. Most games require problem solving. For instance, if a student is playing a math game they need to focus and think about it, which is the skill they need to have in class. If the student’s classroom has games the child will be more engaged to go to school. To obtain focusing as a skill, games are perfect. Games also teach students outside of class. Board games teach you skills you learn in school. For example, if you are learning about decimals and money, a money game will help you learn more. Even adults play games sometimes! It has been proven that kids learn more from playing games with their friends.
